Batana Oil by Flora Aromatics is a traditional botanical oil from Honduras, made from Elaeis oleifera kernel oil. Our Batana Oil is cold pressed and fractionated, giving it a lighter, more fluid texture than traditional heavy Batana preparations.

Batana Oil is especially valued for hair and scalp care. It helps nourish dry, stressed and damaged-looking hair, supports softness and shine, and can be massaged into the scalp as part of a regular hair-care routine.

It is also suitable for skin care, especially for dry or mature-looking skin. Batana Oil naturally contains plant lipids, tocopherols, tocotrienols, phytosterols and carotenoids, making it a rich conditioning oil for skin that needs extra nourishment and softness.

For facial use, a few drops may be blended into a simple cream, lotion or other cosmetic base rather than applied heavily on their own.

One of the most distinctive features of this oil is its naturally rich, sweet aroma. It may have warm caramel-like, nutty or dessert-like notes, which makes it very different from neutral carrier oils.
